ESPN’s No. 1 prep running back is ready to announce

Junior offensive lineman Ryan Pugh has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District IV Football Second Team, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced Thursday. A building science major at Auburn, Pugh carries a 3.45 grade-point average.

The Auburn football team wrapped up their final practice in preparation for Saturday’s game against Furman with a 65-minute session on the outdoor practice fields Thursday evening.

AUBURN – Retired Gen. Carl Mundy, the 30th Commandant of the United States Marine Corps, will address Auburn University’s Naval ROTC unit at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, in 125A Lowder Business Building. The presentation is open to the public.
