No new commitments to report – yet.  Several of the many top prospects have already committed to other schools, and it looks like they may be wavering toward the Tigers after their visit to the Plains.

Clemson commit, running back Marlin Lane of Daytona Beach, Fla. told us that he is now undecided.  He said he is looking hard at the Tigers and will know something before signing date, and probably not much earlier.  Two more running backs Jeremy Hill of Baton Rouge, La., Savon Huggins of Jersey City, N.J. were also visitors, and gave Auburn high marks.  Both seem to be seriously considering the Tigers.  Huggins is reportedly one of the the best running backs in the nation, and has been a recent target of Gene Chizik’s recruiting staff, despite being from New Jersey.

Defensive End, Stephon Tuitt,  Georgia native and Notre Dame’s top commit to date, also gave the Tigers high marks.

Texas commit  Christian Westerman, a big offensive tackle, is also taking another look at the Tigers.

Devaunte Sigler, a rangy DE from BC Rain in Mobile told us that it will either be Auburn or LSU.

5 star Safety Erique Florence of Valley and athlete Quan Bray of LaGrange, Ga. are two that we hope to see on the Plains next year, and it is looking probable that they’ll be there!
