It was Dameyune Craig’s goal in 2003 when, with his professional football career over, he coached at Blount High School, where he’d blossomed into a star quarterback. It was his goal when he coached at South Alabama and at Florida State. He wanted to coach at Auburn, where he’d been a record-breaking quarterback. And he wanted coach in the Iron Bowl. He returned to Auburn to join Gus Malzahn’s first Auburn staff last January. And Saturday he’ll coach in an Iron Bowl some say is the biggest ever when the No. 4 Tigers (10-1, 6-1) and No.1 Alabama (11-0, 7-0) meet at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The winner moves on to play for the SEC championship.
