AUSTIN, Texas (AP) – Quarterbacks Kevin Hogan from Washington, D.C., and Kiehl Frazier from Arkansas were among 42 high school seniors, many committed to major college football programs to be selected to play on the U.S. under-19 national team in the second Team USA vs. Team World game.
USA Football released the roster Tuesday for the team to be coached by Darren Allman of Westlake High School in Austin, Texas. Three more players will be selected to fill the 45-player roster.
Hogan has verbally committed to Stanford. Frazier has committed to Auburn.
The World team will be made up of 45 players from outside the United States. The game will be played Feb. 2 in Austin. The U.S. under-19 team defeated Team World 17-0 in January 2010 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
